Owner Spotlight: Dan Balch

I’m Dan Balch, proud Mortgage Broker at Mortgage Architects.

I look forward to sharing my story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in London, Ontario. I’ve always been good at communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. I also love helping people. These are the basic abilities that a mortgage broker should possess, and I am proud to say I possess these essential qualities.

I’ve been in the mortgage industry for twenty-two years and financial planning and real estate for four years respectively. I arrange mortgages for clients who want better rates and service. I also do a lot for the client that can't use a bank for various reasons. Meeting with the clients and getting all the paperwork done is something I enjoy a lot. When work and passion go hand in hand, work is executed efficiently, leaving the client more than satisfied.

On a typical day at work, I usually work out problems of clients or find new deals in the morning. After which I prefer having an hour-long lunch with clients or referral sources. This helps me get to know them better in a safe, comfortable space. In the afternoons, I deal with paperwork.

For my job to be executed efficiently, my responsibilities include finding clients, seeking mortgages for clients, and servicing clients for many years. The most important decision I face daily is to decide which lender to use for which client. It’s an important decision that helps me keep my clients happy and satisfied

Away from work, I enjoy sailing, volleyball as a sport, and eating. I have a successful marriage of thirty-three years, and I am a proud grandfather. Having a successful career and a family life leaves me a content man.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you, or someone you know could benefit from my expertise, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.danbalch.ca.

Sincerely,

Dan Balch
